You can give joy this Easter to a child in need
We are once again preparing for our annual Easter Basket Donation project, brightening Easter morning for at least 40 children at Laura's Home, a women and children's shelter run by the City Mission of Cleveland. Laura's Home provides shelter, life skills, job training, and spiritual support to women in crisis and their children. Often, the baskets we provide are the only Easter gifts these children receive.
How to help
We need donations of candy, toys, crayons, coloring books, and new plush animals - enough to fill at least 40 Easter baskets. If you have any extra Easter baskets you are not using, those would be great also. If you would like to help, please bring these items to the next general WECPTA meeting or drop them off at Bridget DeMonica's house or Connie Shaver's house (
Be the Bunny- Assemble the Baskets
We will be assembling the baskets on Friday, March 15th from 9-11am at Bridget DeMonica's house (2337 Beaver Creek). All Moms and children are welcome to attend and assemble. Please contact Connie for any questions or if you plan on joining us connielshaver@gmail.com
Thanks for your help and generous donations!
