    Here's the recipe for the Green Smoothie, Vitamix made last night.

    It's called Going Green Smoothie
    1/2 cup of water
    1 cup green grapes
    1/2 cup pineapple
    1/2 banana, peeled
    2 cups fresh spinach
    1/2 cup ice cubes (if the pineapple and grapes are frozen, don't do the ice and add a little more water)

    The FBI has made an app called Child Safety ID.  All the info is stored locally on your phone and you can set a password.  This way you have all the information handy in one spot in case of an emergency.  The link below will take you to the app.

    TRX Class at Five Seasons
    A friend who used to be a member is teaching a TRX class at Five Seasons on Sundays at 9:30 am starting Oct 28. And you do NOT need to be a member to go!

    If you are wondering what TRX is, it is a full-body strength workout that your body weight instead of relying on machines or dumbbells. TRX builds all body strength, flexibility and your core at the same time. It's a fun way to workout!

    She is offering a one time drop in FREE class! BUT you need to sign up in advance since they can only have 6 people at a time. Contact me if you want to sign up for this class.

    Otherwise it's 8 classes for $120. And you don’t need to be a member of Five Seasons to take TRX classes and there is childcare available ($3/one child and $5/family).

    Kids and Prenatal Yoga
    Inner Bliss Yoga in Westlake offers a variety of yoga classes for KIDS at various times. Claire has done the kids yoga class with them in the past and wants to take another class. They also have several prenatal classes. The schedule for those classes.

    Can start in late October or beginning of November.

    Minimum 4 people per class.

    Kellogg’s Co. is recalling some varieties of its frosted bite size mini wheats cereal, according to a news alert on the Wegmans website.
    Kellogg's is recalling the products because fragments of flexible metal mesh from a faulty manufacturing part might be present, according to Wegmans.
    The recall affects the following varieties, according to Wegmans:
    Kellogg’s Frosted Bite Size Mini Wheats Cereal, 18 ounces undefined UPC: 38000-31829, only product with better if used before APR 01 2013 KB - SEP 21 2013.
    Kellogg’s Frosted Bite Size Mini Wheats Cereal, 24 ounces undefined UPC: 38000-31834, only product with Better if Used Before APR 01 2013 undefined SEP 21 2013.
    Kellogg’s Variety Pack, 10 box assortment - UPC: 38000-05332, only product with Better if Used Before FK 04013 - FK 09213.

    The recall of peanut butter sold at Trader Joe's has expanded to include nut butters sold under several different labels nationwide at stores including Heinen's and Target.

    This is a voluntary recall by manufacturer Sunland, Inc., due to possible salmonella contamination. All the recalled products were made at the company's plant in Portales, N.M. So far, only the Trader Joe's Valencia peanut butter has been linked to salmonella.

    Recalled products include Heinen's Organic and All-Natural peanut butters (both creamy and chunky), Archer Farms Creamy Almond Butter and Archer Farms Creamy Peanut Butter with Flax Seeds.

    The recalled products have a sell-by date of between May 1, 2013, and Sept. 24, 2013. For more information, contact Sunland's recall hotline at 1-866-837-1018.
